CREATURE and fly baby fly locate transcendence within a conversation between bodies. Centered in queer narratives, both historical and contemporary, the work moves through the lineage of inherited histories of gender, lineage, grief, and loss. Each work asks how movement might exceed what has been inscribed upon us—transforming the body from the annals of memory into an instrument of becoming.
